The VFRNess for my 2000 VFR is AWESOME! It could not have been easier. I was not having a problem per se but the bike was beginning to exhibit issues with marginal grounding (unable to completely power more than two accessories without ignition/FI issues). After the installation of the VFRNess, all problems are now GONE. The headlights are brighter as a bonus, and the Kisan Pathblazer can be used without any problems. This should be a must-have item if your bike is having problems or if it's running perfectly...this fixes an inherent flaw in the basic Honda wiring harness design for the VFR. Don't put it off...get one TODAY and install it! I can't say enough good about it.

Short story: Great product, well made, even I could do it. Long story: I had no problems with the VFR before installing the VFRness BUT I wanted make the voltage more stable and be safe in the future. I am a complete electronics noob so I was very nervous about the first time install. It took me some time but I got there. The guide is very detailed and does tell you everything you need to know. When I went for the permanent installation of the VFRness it took me about an hour along with a series of tests etc. Most of the time was taken up by trying to fit the harness properly without bending the wires too much or rubbing them on the frame. I got what I wanted in the end. 14,33 Volts all the way throughout the rev range, harness fits well and doesn't rub anywhere. I couldn't be happier! Tis should be the first upgrade you do your VFR
