FUEL SUPPLY REPAIR KITS 1978-1985 Wetbikes
It is very common for the original rubber fuel supply tubes on these bikes to rot and fall apart. The threaded hole at the top of the tank is too small to fit a new rubber line & hose clamp thru, so here is a bullet-proof design to solve these problems.
* This assembly will consist of 1/4" aluminum tubing pre-bent to fit thru the tank, a new threaded swivel fitting that will screw into the tank, and a new 90 degree fitting that your anti-drain back valve will thread into.
* This works better than the original set up, and enables you to position the pick-up tube at the rear of the tank where you can see it thru the fuel fill opening.
* No in-tank screen to clog where you cant get to it. Any debris in your tank will be caught in the inline fuel filter, which is much easier to replace & see.
